Who Can Vote in the Special Election?
It’s simple …
If you live in Washington Township and you meet Indiana’s voter-eligibility requirements (see below), you can vote YES via absentee ballot (here’s how), during early voting days, or on November 4 in this fall’s special election (here’s more info).
Washington Township includes the Town of Avon and is bordered by:
Raceway Road (on the east)
County Road 300 South aka Township Line Road (on the south)
County Road 400 East (on the west)
and just north of County Road 200 North (on the North)

According to indianavoters.in.gov, Indiana’s voter eligibility guidelines are as follows:
Have a valid Indiana Driver's License or Indiana State Identification Card.
Be a citizen of the United States.
Be at least 18 years old on or before the next general, municipal or special election. (A 17-year-old may register and vote in the primary election if the voter turns 18 on or before the next general or municipal election.)
Have lived in your precinct for at least 30 DAYS before the next general, municipal, or special election.
Not currently imprisoned after being convicted of a crime.
